A Consultation - Distribution Forecasted Transmission Capacity

The DNO's Reserved Developer Capacity or Distribution Forecasted Transmission Capacity (DFTC) cap is still set at 1MW. For community-led onshore wind to contribute to Net Zero, this cap is outdated. With one well-known exception, new onshore wind turbines are rated 4-6MW. We call for the DFTC cap to be raised to 10MW, for community-led projects.
